Where is God?

How do I talk to my child?

You can say: "You know how we have all these pictures of you as a baby? You're there in the pictures, right? But you're also here now looking at the pictures, right? You could sit and look at a whole bunch of pictures of yourself, and you'd be here and you'd be in each picture.

God has an amazing way of being in many places. God can look at pictures of everything in the world and it would be like God sitting down and looking at a family photo album.

What do parents need to know?

God's presence is often described using the terms immanence and transcendence. God is both with us (immanence) and beyond us (transcendence).
