Laura Gifford
Laura Gifford is a historian and writer who enjoys helping history come alive for people of all ages. She earned her doctorate in American history from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2006. Gifford and her family are members of Joyful Servant Lutheran Church in Newberg, Ore. In her free time she enjoys reading, running, gardening, hiking and British television. She and her daughter have read every issue of The Little Lutheran!
