Elizabeth is editor of this magazine. When her two sons, ages 6 and 3, aren't keeping her busy, she writes children's fiction, a long-time practice.
Elizabeth is a member at Holy Family Lutheran Church in Chicago, where her husband Leslie is a hard-working youth director and assisting minister. She has her hands full just going to worship with two little boys, and keeping the Cheerios from sticking to her seat. Copies of The Little Lutheran or The Little Christian, help, as long as there are TWO, one for each boy. She also co-leads a children's Bible study with a friend.
Elizabeth credits her sons with keeping her story-telling skills sharp. One demands immediate, original stories and songs about balloons, monsters, sheep and other topics. The other loves stories about trains, dinosaurs and silly stuff, and makes up his own songs.
